Every piece is made after you order it and ships in 6 to 9 weeks, within the 48 contiguous states. Freight goes to the curb. Parcel goes to the door. Both are shown as their own line in the cart before you pay.

Freight is charged per freight piece, not per order. A table and a set of chairs travel with different carriers, so they are two lines in the cart. Parcel items share one flat rate of $29 per order, whatever the number of pieces, and that rate drops to nothing once the order passes $750. There is no handling fee, no fuel surcharge and nothing to pay at the door.

From order to living room

    Order

    You get a confirmation with your order number and the SKU code for the exact finish and size you picked. Nothing is charged twice and nothing is added later.

  2. 02
    Build, 6 to 9 weeks

    Your piece is cut, jointed, sanded and oiled in Gianyar. We do not hold stock, so this is a real build window and not a picking window.

  3. 03
    Crate and ship

    The piece leaves the workshop in a wooden crate with your order number on the outside. You get a tracking number the day it ships.

  4. 04
    Carrier call

    On freight shipments the carrier calls you to book a delivery window. Nobody turns up unannounced with a 145 lb crate.

  5. 05
    Curb or door

    Freight is set down at the curb or in the driveway. Parcel is left at the door with no signature. From the curb to the room is on you, and you need one other person for the table and the bench.

  6. 06
    Uncrate and check

    Open the crate while the driver is still there if you can. Photograph any damage before you sign. That is the whole claim process on our side.

Curbside means curbside

A freight driver brings the crate to the end of your driveway on a lift gate and leaves. They do not carry it inside, they do not take it up a stair, and they do not unpack it or take the crate away. That is what freight costs $249 instead of several hundred more.

The 01 Dining Table is 145 lb and breaks down to five parts, so two people can carry it in one piece at a time and put it back together with one hex key. The 03 Dining Bench is 52 lb and goes in whole.

Measure before you order. The doorway, the turn at the top of the stair, and the room. A 96 in top does not bend.

Returns, warranty and damage

Return policy
30 day returns
You have 30 days from the delivery date. The piece goes back unused and in its original crate, so keep the crate until you are sure. Email us and we send a return authorization and a label or a freight pickup. On freight shipments the return transport is paid by the buyer. On parcel shipments we cover the return label. Refunds go to the original payment method once the piece is back in the workshop and checked.
10 year warranty on construction
Ten years on the joinery and the structure: a joint that opens, a leg that loosens, a top that splits at a glue line. We repair it, or we replace the part, or we replace the piece, in that order. The warranty covers the original buyer and it does not cover the finish, the cushion covers, marks, dents, or a piece that has lived somewhere wet or outdoors.
Damage in transit
Photograph the crate before you cut it open and photograph the piece before you move it. Tell us as soon as you have opened the crate. Transit damage is on us, not on you and not on the carrier as far as you are concerned. We ship a replacement part or a replacement piece and we arrange the collection. You do not pay freight twice.
Cancelling an order
Free until we cut your teak. After that the wood has been selected and machined to your size and finish, so a cancellation becomes a return under the 30 day policy once the piece is delivered. Email us the moment you want to stop an order and we will tell you exactly where it stands.
Where we ship
The 48 contiguous states. Not Alaska, not Hawaii, not Puerto Rico, not Canada, not APO or FPO addresses. Prices are in USD and tax is included in the price shown on the product page.

Why 6 to 9 weeks

Because we do not hold stock. Your teak is selected, conditioned to 8 to 10 percent moisture, cut, jointed, sanded to 240 grit and oiled after you place the order, and then it crosses an ocean.

That window is the only urgency on this site. There is no countdown, no flash sale and no low stock warning, because there is no stock to be low.

If you need a table by a specific date, count back nine weeks and order then. If you order later than that we will tell you honestly whether it can make it.
