Teak carries oil in its own grain. That is why it holds a joint indoors where other hardwoods dry out and open at the seam. Every board we cut is heartwood from a Javanese plantation, SVLK certified, conditioned to 8 to 10 percent moisture for an American interior.
No veneer. No MDF core. No sapwood, which is the pale outer ring that moves at a different rate and shows within a year. An 84 inch top is four boards, edge joined, 30 mm thick, 145 lb on the floor.

Twenty-two people in Gianyar, Bali. They cut, joint, sand and oil every piece we sell, in one building. Nothing is subcontracted, and nothing is bought in and rebranded.
Every order is built after you place it. That is why it takes 6 to 9 weeks, and it is the only reason it takes 6 to 9 weeks.
